La section européenne du lycée Delorme de l'Isle d'Abeau engagé dans un projet de solidarité internationale
The 8th December, we (the european section) have planted a tree next to one of our other projects : a hen-house. If we have chosen this place that’s because that’s one of the most important place for biodiversity in the highschool. There are bees, a vegetable garden, other trees and as soon as possible chickens !
To understand why we have planted a tree, you need to retrace our steps. Last year, we had a project with people who come from Bangladesh. This project had for topic : biodiversity. We exchanged some videos, articles,… To show how we perceive biodiversity in France and in Bangladesh, what are the consequences of climate change in our country (as you know, Bangladesh is heavily impacted by that with the melting of the ice and the rising of the sea. That’s why some of them must leave and migrate in the center of their country)
That was a beautiful and enriching experience. Talk with people who come from other countries allow to become more open-minded and attentive to the climate change which is inevitable.
